Campaign Story

Hi everyone,

My husband Levi and I (Meghan) have been trying to have a baby for over 5 years. Due to irregular menstrual cycles, I never ovulated (or at least assumed I didn’t, because we never got pregnant) but after I got Covid I started ovulating and we got pregnant the first time in December 2022, and we were over the moon! Sadly, that pregnancy ended in miscarriage around 5 weeks. We tried again and got pregnant again in February, which also sadly ended in miscarriage. Tried again and in mid-March we got pregnant a third time, which also sadly miscarried. We had our 4th miscarriage at the end of July/beginning of august. We have had a total of 4 miscarriages in 8 months.

The problem is we can get pregnant but cannot stay pregnant. I finally got referred to an infertility clinic but because our insurances do not cover a single thing, just for an initial telehealth appointment, it’s going to cost us almost 700 dollars just to talk to the doctor and do beginning tests, such as blood typing etc. On top of our other monthly expenses that is just not something we are able to afford.

This has been an incredibly heartbreaking and draining journey and while we do not expect anyone to help or donate, anything anyone wishes to donate is appreciated more than you could ever imagine.
